Advanced Agri Solutions – Farmer-to-farmer solutions that get results

Advanced Agri Solutions founder and lead technical support specialist Dean Hoover grew up on a dairy farm in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. Through the years, he shared responsibility for the day-to-day health of the herd, and continued working on the family farm for 18 years following his wedding to wife, Mary Ann.

Naturally, Dean built a close relationship with the farm’s nutritionist. Together they co-developed and marketed AAS nutritional products to solve real-world dairy farm problems, including ketosis and milk fever.

In 2000, Dean took over full ownership of AAS and continued working with industry experts, academic institutions and farmers to formulate the two primary AAS products known and respected today: AAS PowerPak Drench Mix and Calcium Boost Drench Mix.

Dean remembers and appreciates the sweat equity his wife and two children put into the business: mixing products in a garage on a nearby farm, the kids packaging product on the coldest days in winter, and Mary Ann delivering the taped-up product boxes to vet clinics.

Today, AAS sells through a network of trusted distributors to make it easier for farmers to consolidate where they get their agricultural products.
